A couple of rounds of rainfall, with isolated non-severe thunderstorms will impact the area through Thursday morning. Today will see areas of rain moving east through the afternoon. Greater rainfall amounts today are expected near to south of I-90, where locally more than a half inch is possible. Light showers may linger over parts of northwest Iowa tonight into early Wednesday, but most locations will see a dry conditions. A band of moderate to heavy rainfall may lift back into portions of northwest Iowa late Wednesday through Wednesday night. This band has the greater potential to cause localized flooding issues, but uncertainty in the exact location of the heavier rainfall remains.
