A Beach Hazards Statement has been issued for Pacific Coast beaches from 3AM Saturday through 9PM Sunday for an increased risk for sneaker waves and strong rip currents with breaking waves of 7 to 12 feet. Waves can sweep across the shoreline without warning, pulling people into the sea from beaches, jetties, and rocks.
