Mostly cloudy skies will be with us through the rest of the work week. After a relative break in the weather today into Thursday morning, showers chances work in later Thursday. Widespread showers are expected Thursday night into Friday morning, and a few rumbles of thunder will be possible. The winds will likely be the biggest story on Friday; strong gusts are expected, especially near the Great Lakes.
