Low pressure moving through the region on Monday will bring widespread showers with embedded thunderstorms to the Northland. This widespread rain will bring a 50-95% chance for 0.5" or greater of rainfall by early Tuesday morning. For areas along the I-35 corridor to the North Shore near Silver Bay, there is a 50% chance or greater for higher amounts of 1" or more. This could lead to ponding of water in low-lying areas. While the embedded thunderstorms are not expected to be severe, small hail of 0.5" in diameter or less may be possible on Monday afternoon.
