8 AM UPDATE: A few strong to severe storms are possible this afternoon as the remnants of Tropical Storm Rachel approach from the southwest. Storms will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts and heavy rain, which may trigger flash flooding. Wind gusts will increase throughout the day, with 40-50 mph gusts expected through Sunday night. Stay weather aware!
