An upper-level high will build in during the week helping to decrease and limit the chance for showers and thunderstorms. The exception will be near the coast on Wednesday when a wave moving across the northern Gulf will bring an increase in shower activity. Temperatures will be hot and humid during the daytime and muggy at night until toward the end of the week with as drier air moves in to bring less humid conditions.
