An upper-level high will build in during the week helping to decrease and limit the chance for showers and thunderstorms for the next couple of days. Temperatures will be hot and humid during the daytime and muggy at night. A wave moving across the northern Gulf will bring a brief period of increasing showers and thunderstorms near the coast on Wednesday. Drier air behind this wave will reduce rain chances again through the end of the week with less humid conditions.
