An area of showers and thunderstorms in the Indy Metro area will shift eastward while weakening. Meanwhile, a developing area of thunderstorms over southern IL will move into southern portions of central IN into the mid evening. Threat for severe weather will increase with this activity including isolated damaging winds and possibly a brief tornado.
